Web Series ~ a new thing? or just something I've missed?

"The Guild" - starring the very funny & attractive Felicia Day was the first "web series" I watched, basically it's like a TV series, but only released on the Internet, I was shown this by someone, (Sorry, can't remember who) but it was great. A group of players who played an MMO together. Well worth watching! Well, there are lots of Web Series out there, although I've not seen many of them. However, NZ has a great group of people looking to launch a new Web Series. Again, a bunch of people who play an MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) ~ however, this time it's about those people playing their own characters INSIDE the game. But they don't have the skills & magic that their characters had, just their own skills. Sounds great, I mean, I'm sure almost ever MMO player out there has thought about playing their character for real right? The series is filmed in NZ (Auckland) ~ or at least wants to be!
